She thought of these recipes “in her head”.

Canned baked beans and carrots.

Tried to cook rice, egg white and giant chunks of yam in rice cooker…the rice didn’t cook.

There’s a cauliflower on the cutting board, I’m scared for it…

Have her try to recreate meals on YouTube. It’s the best way to learn hands down.

  4. At least she’s attempting to learn to cook. Hope she figures it out

Why baked beans of all things lmfao

  6. TheQueensCrumpets

Bless her heart. Does she not grasp the concept that you can prepare vegetables (peel, chop, mash, season, etc) rather than simply heating them up whole?

  7. LegoGeezer57

How’d you get the beans before the carrot!!

  8. She needs some YouTube basics videos on cooking haha. And maybe an exorcist

  9. danfish_77

She really should start with some recipes and then do minor variations from there. Her intuition for both flavor and methodology seem very poor.

Respectfully tell her to fuck off with the beans on top of everything. You can choose any wording of your choosing. Roast the cauliflower by cutting it in quarters a bit of oil on the flats and sear in a hot pan with a shallow amount of oil and butter add your spices salt, pepper, paprika, plenty of garlic. Pop in the oven at 350 until it’s tender. Most Vegetables are good enough like that. Yams are weird and I don’t eat them but sweet potato with Thyme butter salt and pepper is pretty good roasted or if she can use a charcoal grill you wrap them twice in foil and put them under the coals for about 45-1hr.

As long as she eats it, lol. But this is like trying to learn how to write by making random scribbles on the paper and expecting it to turn out like letters.

  12. Superb_n00b

Can she read a recipe? Cuz that would help prolly. This is more of a “I think this is what healthy food is, so I’m gonna mash them together and hope for the best” wtf lol

  13. honeyedglam

Well if she’s attached to beans, maybe she can learn to make a proper English breakfast.

  15. The carrots and beans are probably tasty.

Just the kind of struggle meal a poor bastard like me would eat.

  16. jabracadaniel

tell her learning by doing still means following instructions from someone more knowledgable, not whatever this is

  17. Hauntedgooselover

There’s no method to her madness. How do you do that to rice??

  18. LostinQuiddity

    Not bad.

There’s two types of potatoes: waxy and starchy

Starchy: russet type- good for frying, mushing, backing, etc.

Waxy- like red potatoes- good for soups, etc because they stay together.

Idk if it’s a potatoe at the end… but it looks like a russet gone wrong 🤣

  19. Hardwarestore_Senpai

Maybe a vegetarian cookbook (or a few magazines) are on her wish list? This is ridiculous.

  20. Hardwarestore_Senpai

Well, if you’re using a rice cooker. There should be a seperate steam basket. I guess this recipe could have worked.

Wtf is she? A Mongolian nomad from before christ? Has to be because only some unholy creature could eat this.
